Kneel & Kiss the Ground

A three-day workshop intensive to inspire, restore and replenish you, body and soul, in a way that awakens a sense of wonder, inner strength and trust in life; in person and onsite in collaboration with Christina Sell at Yoga Oasis in Tucson. For more info: yogaoasis.com

Today, like every other day,
we wake up empty and frightened.
Don’t open the door to the study and begin reading.
Take down a musical instrument.
Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.
— Rumi

In these times of stress and strain, when our human species is called toward a great evolutionary leap, this three-day intensive with Christina Sell and Mary Angelon Young is designed to inspire, restore and replenish your connection with the Sacred in a way that awakens the heart to a sense of wonder, inner strength, and trust in life.

Exploring universal archetypal themes of endings and beginnings, death and rebirth through story, song, dance, asana, breathing, creativity, and conversation, each day Christina will lead a morning session of contemplation and asana; Mary Angelon will guide our afternoons with story-telling, singing, and experiential work that honors our deepest aspirations while it integrates difficult emotions and cultivates a sense of purpose.

This workshop is for you if you are feeling lonely for meaningful connection, experiencing loss and grief in our rapidly changing times, and wanting to move forward in your life in a way that is
authentic, heartfelt, and responsive.

About the Instructors:

Known for their down-to-earth approach to spirituality, Christina and Mary Angelon have been teaching together for over a decade. Their many years of combined experience and immersion in Eastern traditions of practice—as well as transpersonal and Jungian psychology—creates useful pathways of insight for Westerners. They delight in creating circles of sanctuary in which we may question assumptions, gain insight into challenges and patterns of thought and behavior, access inner wisdom, and glimpse new possibilities for creative self-expression.
